Escape the 9-5: How to Live a Nomadic Lifestyle
It's a great way to live a richer, fuller life and to see more of the world. But it's not as easy as it sounds, especially if you're not used to working online.
That's why I'm here to talk about how to make the transition to become a digital nomad.
The biggest deterrent to becoming a digital nomad is probably the fear of not making enough money. But don't worry, you don't have to make drastic changes in order to become one.
You can start by running a business in your spare time and building it up to the point where it can support you and you can quit your day job.
Alternatively, you can ask your current employer if you can keep working with them while you travel. You might be surprised to find that they are more than happy to help.
If that fails, you can look for a job that will give you the freedom to travel. The next step is to make sure you have a budget in place. That way, you can figure out how much you need to make in order to fund your travels.
In some cases, you might be able to make enough with a part-time job. You can also look into finding cheaper accommodation, such as Air BnBs or CouchSurfer.
Finally, you'll need to be prepared to face the practical challenges of working online.
Make sure you do your research before you go, so you know where to find WiFi and good places to work. Get an app to help you keep up with local time zones, and make sure your computer has a good battery life.
If you're willing to work around the challenges, you'll soon find that this is an incredibly rewarding experience.
